The first step on your journey into esthetics is to
learn more about our courses.
Get started with our Fact
Sheet , that can be downloaded or requested by regular
mail. To request
we mail you our Fact Sheet, simply email
us with your name, mailing address, telephone number and
course interest.
|
The second
step is a School tour and an interview. Both are given
by our Administration Staff, and when schedule permits,
meeting with our Director. At this time, you will receive
our School Catalog with complete course information, see
our classrooms, student clinic, review course textbooks,
and receive application forms.
You may also request to spend some time in the classroom
observing how classes are conducted and speaking with
the students.
There will be an oppportunity to ask questions during
the application interview. Tours are offered on a weekly

to schedule a tour.
The third step is to apply for admittance to the
course of your choice. Admission requirements for the
Basic Esthetics, Makeup, and Waxing Courses are as follows:
|
- Have a genuine desire
to help people as you touch them physically and emotionally
during their esthetic services, and to enhance their
health and beauty through your knowledge as a professional
esthetician.
- Be prepared to discuss
your reasons for being interested in this profession.
We will talk with you about the qualities that help
to make an esthetician successful and what employment
opportunities are available to our graduates.
- It is important to
be "good with your hands". If you have never
used your hands in a similar way you may be tested to
see how your hands move and how flexible they are. Good
eyesight, physical stamina and a healthy life style
are also important.
- You must have completed
high school or its equivalent.
- If English is your
second language and understanding the material may be
challenging, we may recommend further study of English
(ESL) before applying.
- If
you are not a US Citizen you must have a Permanent Resident
Card and a Social Security Card. We are not registered
with Immigration to accept Foreign students needing
an I-70 Visa.
- Submit a completed
Admissions
Application with high school, GED or college transcript
and a non-refundable processing fee of $100.
The Fourth step is
the Approval and Enrollment Process:
|
- Upon the successful
completion of your interview, and after we have received
the transcript of your previous education, and favorable
reports from your references, we will send you an Approval
of Admission letter.
- Submit a completed
Registration Form, choose your payment option, and pay
your earnest money which will be credited towards your
tuition. If you desire, you may apply for a Career Training
Loan with SLM Financial Corporation at this time. Registration
should be completed not later than 30 days before a
class starts.
- Next, you will receive
a letter confirming your enrollment with a draft of
your enrollment contract. The letter will invite you
to choose from several dates to come to a pre-orientation
session with the Director. During this session you will
complete the enrollment process by signing your enrollment
contract, buy your books and materials, and make a second
deposit toward your tuition. A photo will be taken for
your student ID badge and you will go over the School
